A Common Project is an empowerment project with three main community facing programs. Each program is designed to improve living conditions of artists and cultural workers. A Common Resource (2012–present) helps those interested in alterntive, low-cost, free, or barter resources for urban needs: food, housing, media, and more. A Common Share (2013–present) is a new way to experience and engagement and engage with artwork in a local community setting, and finally A Common Advocate (2015–present) is designed to help increase the visibility, resources, and employment of artists and cultural workers of color within all areas of the New York City's cultural landscape.
